Reflexology is an alternative treatment method, in which special pressure and massage are applied to the plantar and dorsal surface of the foot.
Most of the nerve endings end in our feet, starting in the brain and run throughout the body. They are also (the sole and back) a comprehensive map of organs and body structures.
By exerting appropriate pressure to specific points, an inadvertent reaction is reflectively caused to the corresponding part of the body (e.g. heart, glands, muscles), resulting in its functionality improvement.
As a non-invasive therapy, reflexology helps the body maintain a delicate balance between the systems that is made up of (e.g. skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, etc.), with a view to relaxing and balancing our body.
The session lasts about 30 minutes.
